The aim of blastocyst transfer is to increase the chances of pregnancy and lower the risk of multiple pregnancies. This is because embryos that develop in the laboratory until Day 5 after fertilization, known as the blastocyst stage, have a higher likelihood of successfully implanting into the uterus.
